Summer prep at Eastern Beach, Geelong with the Tadano GR-130EX mobile crane

Summer is just around the corner, and our crew at Absolute Crane Solutions is already busy helping get Eastern Beach ready for the warm weather ahead! Today, we were down by the children’s pool, swapping out some glass panels to make sure everything is in tip-top shape for the summer crowds. And, of course, we brought along one of our favourite pieces of equipment for the job – the Tadano GR-130EX City Class Crane.

This compact powerhouse, with its 13-tonne capacity, was the perfect crane for the job. With narrow access and tight spaces around the pool, the Tadano GR-130EX’s compact carrier and impressive maneuverability made the job smooth and efficient. Its main boom extends from 5.3 metres all the way to 23.8 metres, giving us the reach we needed to get the glass panels in place without any hassle. Plus, the asymmetrical outriggers were a lifesaver, providing stability even on uneven ground.

One of the coolest features of this crane is the HELLO-NET system. It’s a telematics system that keeps track of the crane’s operational status, position, and even its maintenance needs – all in real-time. This means we can work efficiently and safely, knowing the crane is running in top condition.

It was a great day by the pool, and we’re stoked to help get Eastern Beach ready for families to enjoy. Whether it’s lifting glass panels or handling bigger construction projects, the Tadano GR-130EX is always up for the challenge.
